LAHTF is proud to present our signature ALL ABOUT tour of the State Theatre set for Sunday, April 29. Recent ALL ABOUT tours have been on Saturdays, so please note this will take place on Sunday. Members can purchase their tickets via the exclusive pre-sale now and will be able to join us early for a members loop and hospitality area. If you are not a member of LAHTF yet, this is a wonderful time to join.  We want to say a big thank you to the Broadway Theatre Group for allowing LAHTF to be the first to open the doors for this special pre-restoration tour!

Opened in 1921 as the Loew’s State Theatre, it is the largest theatre on Broadway. For decades the State Theatre presented movies and in the 1920s and 30s presented live Fanchon and Marco stage shows. Since 1998 it had leased by a church, but they have recently moved out and the non-original adaptations the church made to the theatre are now being removed. This will be your first opportunity to see behind the scenes as the renovation work is getting started.  Purchase your tickets today and join us as we explore this celebrated theatre!

Doors open for LAHTF Members at 9:15am and for all attendees at 9:45am. The presentation and tour begin at 10:00am.

Member tickets are $10. Be sure to click “Redeem Benefits” in the bottom left hand corner of the payment screen to receive the discounted ticket price.

General Admission tickets are $20.

This tour is not fully ADA accessible due to staircases being the only way to access the balcony and basement levels. Should you have any questions regarding ADA accessibility, your Patron ID number, or the event overall, please email me at Tiffany@LAHTF.org.
