A CLASSIC MOVIE SPOOKSHOW
Benefit for the Los Angeles Historic Theatre Foundation

The Event:

This 2-day event will be an annual celebration for families and all those looking for fun and a unique good time - while supporting a good cause. The LAHTF is the only local non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to protecting, preserving, restoring and sustaining Southern California’s historic theatres.

The Spooky Setting

Sid Grauman’s first LA movie palace opened in 1918. From the horrifying Tragedy Triumphant scowling over the proscenium to the hounds atop the organ screens and the grotesques in the architectural details, with its 90-years of history the Million Dollar is a unique and appropriate setting for hilariously frightening and gloomy goings-on.  The theatre will be terrifyingly transformed though dramatic lighting, special effects, and surprise appearances by ghosts, skeletons and ghouls. There’ll be other occurrences too horrible to mention.
